Terry Lee Sellers

Terry Lee Sellers, went sweetly to Glory on October 19, 2021. He was 74. Terry was born July 9, 1947, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Richard and Martha Sellers. He had three brothers and one sister: Thomas (Jane) Sellers, Richard (Sherrie) Sellers, Ronald (Shelly) Sellers, and Patricia (Dan) Rabb, and several nieces and nephews. Terry grew up in Kalamazoo and graduated from Norrix High School in 1966. He was drafted into the Army, Sept. 1967 to Sept. 1969. He returned home and married his sweetheart, Roxie Dee Crawford on Nov. 22, 1969. 52 years next month. They have two sons: Cory Lee (Jeanie) Sellers and their children: Noelle, Jesse (Lydia) Sellers and Keith Terry (Evie) Sellers and their children: Faith, Landon, Ila, Selah, Prairie, and Charlotte Rose Sellers. He was also loved by all the Crawford family. Terry worked for National Water Lift (Parker) for 30 years and retired, July 2007. Terry loved the Lord and loved being an example to his unconditionally loved grandchildren. He loved being outside and there wasn't much that he couldn't do. He loved his family and left us with many great memories. He was a cheerful giver and loved to meet needs. He had many friends and one very special friend, Norm Zomer. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church for many years and held various positions. He loved our Lifegroup and served making coffee for us many years. He had a true servant's heart. The most important part of his life was loving his wife and family. He will be missed deeply. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 26, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Calvary Bible Church. 855 S. Drake Road. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM. Pastor Jeff Whitaker and Pastor Todd Perkins, (nephew of Roxie) will officiate. A private burial with military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to missions at Calvary Bible Church or Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. A private graveside service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery with military honors.
