Kalamazoo, MI Terry died Friday October 17, 2008 at Bronson Methodist Hospital after a lifelong battle with heart and vascular disease. He was born March 29, 1948 a son of Byron E. and Grace L. Manuel McBride. Terry was an outstanding athlete and received the "Athlete of the Year Award" at Loy Norrix High School before graduating in 1966. He also attended Kellogg Community College and enjoyed camping, dancing and softball. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Fitzgerald; a sister, Sandra Shockley. He is survived by his sister, Sharon McBride; 2 children, Mindy L. Steve VanDyken and Mikkel T. Kanthreas McBride; 4 granddaughters, Amber VanDyken, Kamille, Marissa, and Maureen McBride; a nephew; and three nieces. A memorial will be held 1 o'clock Saturday, March 28th in the Mount Ever-Rest Cemetery Chapel. Arrangement were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
