Kalamazoo, Michigan Terry passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, April 20, 2008. He was born December 20, 1959 in Alpena, the son of Lloyd and Arlene Baker. Terry was employed by S & T Lawn Care. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and all things outdoors. Surviving are his fiancée, Jenny Butler of Kalamazoo; his mother, Arlene Baker of Alpena; 1 sister, Cindy Diemond of Alpena; 3 brothers, Gary Chris Baker of Grand Junction, Dave Baker of Alpena, and Jack Joan Smolinski of Alpena; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding him in death was his father, Lloyd Baker. Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with Rev. James Dyke officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6 until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
