Terry Joe Ashby

Terry Joe Ashby, age 68, passed peacefully on September 30th of 2024 at Bronson Methodist Hospital surrounded by his children. Terry was born on October 26th, 1955.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother and father, Daphine J. Ashby and Junior T. Ashby; three brothers, Robert T. Ashby, David A. Ashby (Sharolett), and Larry L. Bradshaw; and his grandson, Beckett H. Fitch.

He is survived by his two sisters, Linda A. Stratton and Deborah K. Ashby; children, Emily N. Fitch (Ty) and Jonathan D. Ashby; and grandsons, Trent D. Ashby and Logan N. Ashby.

Terry was devoted to helping others and his family. He was a Jack of all trades. Terry always had work to do and was never afraid of getting his hands dirty. He worked throughout high school and eventually owned his own cleaning business for many years. He was lastly employed by Mann+Hummel as a maintenance technician. When he retired, he loved to be outside fishing and mowing lawns. He will be missed dearly but his memories will forever be with us. His family will host an intimate gathering to celebrate and cherish Terry’s life at a later date.
