Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday morning May 16, 2011. Sue was born December 18, 1934 in Grand Rapids, Michigan daughter of Ralph and Mary Curtis. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with Parker Hannifin for 30 years before retiring. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Julie Bloomquist; two brothers and one sister. Sue is survived by 2 daughters, Debra Waldorf and Missy Bloomquist both of Kalamazoo; 8 grandchildren: Mac & Sydney Waldorf, Ryan & Ashley Waldorf, Jeremy & Ally Bloomquist, Tyler & Kristan Young & 7 great-grandchildren. Lifelong friend Ruth Turks of Galesburg, and Mike Waldorf like a son of Richland. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Washington Square Public Library.
