SHAW, Stuart Robert "Bob"
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Bob passed away Monday evening, August 27, 2012 at his home. He was born February 24, 1924 in Kalamazoo, the only son of Stuart "Bud" and Annamae Saunders Shaw. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He was employed by The Upjohn Co. for 40 years until his retirement. On June 3, 1995, he was united in marriage to Frances Eldred Hamilton-Shaw, who survives. Also surviving are his two daughters, Joanne Barber and Candyce Brown; daughter-in-law, Angie Shaw; two step-children, Rex Marilyn Hamilton and Shari Olson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his son Richard "Dick" Shaw. Honoring Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes.
