Passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the age of 56. Steven was born January 26, 1961 in Kalamazoo to Gwendell "Red" and Marilyn (Walker) Heflin. Among his interests included fishing and visiting the casino. Steven is survived by his parents; sisters, Sherrie (Eric Bayha) Griswold and Nicki Eager and her daughter, Hayley; brother, Todd Heflin; and his beloved dog, Scooby. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, January 31st from 4-6pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Hwy. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Steven's name may be directed to Kalamazoo Humane Society.
