Stephen M. Hall

Passed away Saturday evening, April 20, 2019 in Wayne, MI. Stephen was born July 13, 1957 in Cleveland, OH a son of Carl and Dolores (Edmonds) Hall. He was a graduate of Portage Northern High School and retired from General Motors on September 30, 2018. Stephen enjoyed music and electronics; and was able to see value in everything. He was a handyman and was always tinkering with something. He was an animal lover who enjoyed the company of his 3 cats; and was affectionally called the "cat daddy" by his family. Stephen is survived by his mother, Dolores Hall; sister and brothers, Lee Ann VanOrman (Phil Bullock), Greg (Kristina) Hall, Jim (May) Hall, Jeffrey Hall; many nieces and nephews; and his 3 cats. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Hall on February 3, 2018. Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, April 26 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre. Friends may meet the family from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service. Private interment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
