Stanley Jay Kilbourn

KILBOURN, Stanley Jay Of Kalamazoo Passed away Wednesday November 29, 2006. Stan was born March 11, 1959 in Battle Creek the son of Louis and Nora Ross Kilbourn. Stan had been employed for Borroughs for 25 years and the past 5 years with the Target Distribution Center as a maintenance mechanic. He loved driving his fast cars, especially his Triumph, Camaro, and Corvette; as well as restoring and repairing vehicles. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed fishing. Mostly, Stan loved spending time with his grandchildren who knew him as ?PaPa?. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis; step-father, Tiny Ross; and a brother, Zeno Ross. He is survived by his wife Dawn, 2 daughters, Amanda Jason Whittaker, Lisa Sebastian Meyer; 3 grandchildren, Nick, Hannah, and Alex; his mother, Nora Lee Ross; grandmother, Dorothy Erickson; 3 brothers, Richard Kilbourn, Daniel Debbie Kilbourn, Arthur Ross; special sister-in-law, Tammy Creek; a nephew, Danny Kilbourn; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services will be held 11:00 o?clock Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick with Pastor John Wayman officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the chapel. Memorials may be directed to the NASCAR Victory Junction Gang Camp.
