LACY, Snead J. "John"
of Scotts, Michigan Passed away June 12, 2012 at the age of 65. John was born September 15, 1946 in Kalamazoo to the late Snead and Clara Rathbun Lacy. He was united in marriage to Joyce Tuttle on September 13, 1963, Joyce survives. Snead was a proud and longtime member of the Harley Owner's group HOG in Kalamazoo. John was a loving husband and father and a proud grandpa Papa as well. He was employed with Crown Vantage for 34 years und then with AM Todd Company where he retired. Surviving John are his children, Julie Rick Russell of Allendale, MI, Michael Lori Lacy of Holland, MI, Stephen Jennifer Lacy of Kalamazoo, Wayne Patricia Lacy of Lansing and Eliza Williams of Kalamazoo; 8 granddaughters; 2 step grandsons; sister Alice Sudhir Prasad; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place Friday, 10:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where family will greet friends on Thursday from 5-8:00pm. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in John's name to Hospice of S.W. Michigan or to West Michigan Cancer Center.
