RICHMOND, Mrs. Shirley A.
of Gobles, MI Died Thursday evening September 29, 2011. Shirley was born June 14, 1936 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Lloyd R. and Rose E. Horton Morse. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for many years before moving to Gobles in 1960. Shirley was employed with the Perrigo Company for 25 years before retiring. She also enjoyed flower gardening, baking, and playing bingo. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard ?Butch? E. Richmond in November of 1990; 6 brothers; and 4 sisters. She is survived by 7 children, Sharon Paul Husza of Linden, MI, Vicki Jim Kehoe of Gobles, Rose Tim Hite of Paw Paw, Richard Dori Richmond of Gobles, David Debbie Richmond of Allegan, Robert Nolene Richmond of Cedar Springs, MI and Terry Linda Richmond of Gobles; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Vera Pillars and Barbara Hendrickson both of Paw Paw; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
