of Kalamazoo Passed away August 19, 2009 at home. She was born September 1, 1942 in Marion, IN to the late Lemual and Stella Mae Todd Poe. Surviving Shirley are her children, Lonnie Gibbs, Tammy Vargas and Jodi Milne all of Kalamazoo, Laurie Cantwell of Vicksburg; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Gene and 2 sisters, Ruby and Alberta. Shirley was a 25-year member of T.O.P.S. Preceding her in death was her very dear life partner, Arthur Gillespie, 2005. A Memorial service will take place Thursday, August 27th, 2:00pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of SW Michigan.
