Shirley A. Crummel

CRUMMEL, Shirley A. Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008. She was born May 10, 1929, the daughter of Raymond and Mildred Olsen Stevens and lived in Kalamazoo for many years. She was an employee of the United States Post Office for 20 years, retiring in 1991. She loved animals and watching tennis tournaments on television. Shirley is survived by her children, Tim Crummel of Kalamazoo and Sue Brian Adams of Parchment; 4 grandchildren, Heather, Tara, Adam and Dillon; a great grandson, Gage; and a brother, Jack Stevens of CA. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with Pastors Ray Brandon and Neil Boss officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Thursday from 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society.
