BEILBY, Sheila Kay
of Kalamazoo Passed away September 3, 2012 at the age of 49. She was born October 13, 1962 in Kalamazoo to James Thompson and Shirley Lassitter. Sheila was united in marriage to Larry Beilby in on April 28, 2007, who survives. Sheila was proud of obtaining her cosmetologist license and had just completed her instructor's training and was preparing to take her Cosmetology Instructor's State Board exam. Also surviving Sheila are her children, Jesse Staley of Portage and Shyla Jim Sutton of Grand Ledge; 5 grandchildren, Hailey, Jesse, MaKayla, Shyla and Alexis; parents, James Thompson and Shirley Charlie Burgan; sisters, Sandra Lassitter, Valaurie Mike Meddock and Julie Brian Hercik; brothers, Kevin Patti Thompson, Tim Thompson and James Shannon Thompson; uncles, Terry Nancy Lassitter, Grover Clara Lassitter, Jr., Robert Lassitter; nephew, Hunter and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Also preceding Sheila in death were her grandparents, Grover Johanna Lassitter; and her father's wife, Merideth Thompson. A memorial service will take place Friday, 11:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. A private interment will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South.
