THOMASMA, Sharon L. "Sharye"
Of Portage Went to be with her Lord, Thursday morning, December 2, 2010. Sharye was born August 11, 1945 in Kalamazoo the daughter of the late Irving T. and Dorothy Zuidema Woodhams. She was also preceded in death by a sister, June Rybnikar. Prior to her retirement she was employed with the Kalamazoo County Courthouse as Deputy Clerk for 20 years. Sharye was an active member of the Milwood Christian Reformed Church and enjoyed spending time going to her grandchildren's various sports and school activities. On November 3, 1967, she was united in marriage to her loving husband, John Thomasma, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are her children, John, Jr. Debbie Thomasma, Cheryl Jeff Moeslein, Jeff Mechelle Thomasma, Sarah Kal Perjesi; 10 grandchildren; sister and brothers, Hazel Hurt, Irving "Ted" Betty Woodhams, Donald Dormah Woodhams; and several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Sharye's life will be held at 2:00 o'clock Friday at the Milwood Christian Reformed Church, 3306 Lovers Lane with Pastor Loren Kotman officiating. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre and on Friday from 1:00 until the time of service at the church. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Milwood Christian Reformed Church. www.langelands.com
