Sharon Kay Miller, born on April 11, 1951, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on January 29, 2025, in her hometown. 

Sharon, known affectionately as the "Best Nana in the world," is survived by children Kristy Rice, Bradly Miller, Paul Miller, and Timothy Dingman, brothers Terry, Larry, and Mark Fancher, and grandchildren Shaianne Rice, Brendon Rice, Jacob Rice, Addison Rice, Kaylee Miller, Kelly Miller, Stephanie Miller, Morgan Miller, and Jacob Miller, as well as several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Jay Fancher and Dolores Cannon Fancher. 

A proud graduate of Old Central High School in Kalamazoo, Sharon continued to foster connections throughout her life, surrounding herself with friends and loved ones. Her love for sewing, spending time at the beach, traveling, golfing, and attending her church, Spring Valley Church, was a testament to her zest for life.

Sharon's dear friend of 59 years, Yidnic, stood by her side through countless moments, embodying the true spirit of friendship and loyalty that she treasured.

A Celebration of Life honoring Sharon Kay Miller will be held on February 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM. The service will take place at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI, where friends and family can come together to celebrate her remarkable life and the impact she had on all who knew her.
