Kalamazoo Passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013. Sandra was born February 11, 1959 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Thomas and Norma Legerstee Veld and was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. She worked at Lee's Adventure Sports for many years and enjoyed water skiing, cross country skiing and bicycling. Sandra is survived by her parents, Thomas and Norma Veld of Kalamazoo; her sisters, Janet Tim Osterman of Portage and Barbara Veld of Kalamazoo; a niece, Rebecca Osterman; a nephew, Jeffery Osterman; many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 11:00 AM, in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., with Rev. Kevin Hart, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, South. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the West Michigan Cancer Center of Kalamazoo.
