Sadie B. Barrons

BARRONS, Mrs. Sadie B. Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday morning March 27, 2007 at her residence. Sadie was born March 3, 1939 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Wilfred and Clara VanBruggen Newkirk. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Plastic Engineering Company for 15 years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, Robert D. Brown, Sr.; a brother, Wilfred ?Sonny? Newkirk; and a sister, Anita Byer. She is survived by 5 children, Vickie Dennis Kosanke and Anna Richard Gerould all of Portage; Robert Lori Jean Brown and Laurie Brown and her fiancé, Nicholas Mitchell all of Kalamazoo, and Richard Brown of Portage; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, William Edyth Newkirk of Comstock; 3 sisters, Elaine Donald Kidder of Carsonville, MI, Trudy Ramgren of Kalamazoo, and Betty Frank Welch of Charlotte, NC; 2 aunts; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 11 o?clock Friday at the First Free will Baptist Church, 630 Moline St. Private burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
