Portage Ruth Hansen died January 23, 2008, in Kalalamzoo, MI. She was born August 21, 1940, in Kalamazoo, MI, a daughter of Cornelius M. and Myrtle V. Gunnett Van Den Bos and had been a life long area resident. She worked for many years at W-L Molding Company. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Kenneth. Surviving are: her sons, Walter Hansen of Vicksburg, Jay Melinda Hansen of Kalamazoo and Paul Hansen of Portage; granddaughter, Felicia Lobretto; a sister, Lillian Bartels and two brothers, Mick Lynn Van Den Bos and Thomas Wilma Van Den Bos. Cremation has taken place and private inurnment services will be held later. Memorials should be directed to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
