Ruth N. Daggett

DAGGETT, Mrs. Ruth N. Three Rivers, MI Formerly of Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday morning March 12, 2007. Ruth was born December 7, 1915 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Adrian and Lina Shaw DeSmit. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo and Allegan area resident and was employed with the Kalamazoo Regional State Hospital years ago. She was also a life member of the Kalamazoo Order of the Eastern Star Corinthian Chapter #123. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clare T. Daggett; her daughter, Bertha M. Krulac; a grandson, Timothy Daggett; and a step brother, Gerald Dobbyn. She is survived by a son, Bernard ?Bernie? Janet Daggett of Schoolcraft; a son-in-law, Nick Betty Krulac of Wayland; 4 grandchildren, Gregory Cheryl Daggett, Debra Ken Lettinga, Holly Rob Sieffert, and Rich Karen Krulac; several great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Florence Dobbyn of New York; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 o?clock Thursday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be directed to the O.E.S. Corinthian Chapter #123 or Riverview Manor Nursing Home.
