APPLE, Ruth E.
Of Kalamazoo, Michigan Ruth passed away Sunday afternoon, April 26, 2009 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born June 30, 1926 in Zanesville, Ohio, one of two children to Robert S. and Helen E. Grissom Richards. Ruth was employed by the Kalamazoo Public Schools as a teacher for many years until her retirement. Surviving are her brother, Robert E. and wife Virginia Richards of Springfield, MO, 2 nephews, Daryl and wife Stacy Richards of Camp Verde, Arizona and Robert S. Richards of Madison, WI and 1 niece Ann Richards of Phoenix, Arizona. Cremation has taken place and there will be no local services or visitation. Inurnment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix, MI. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society/Pet Visitation Program, 4239 S.
