Russell Stanfill

STANFILL, Russell Portage Passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007. He was born May 22, 1953 the son of Henry William, Sr. and Lottie Clark Stanfill and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Russ had been employed in maintenance at Drake?s Pond and owned his own company, Stanfill Painting. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Becky Schultz of Portage; his son, Sean Stanfill of Paw Paw; his granddaughter, Jada Stanfill; and his fiancée, Maria Kowalik and her children, Deb and John Kowalik, of Portage; 3 brothers, Henry Stanfill, Jr., Chester Stanfill, and Dan Stanfill; 3 sisters, Maxine Florian, Joyce Melbow and Catherine Campbell; many nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the New Apostolic Church Youth Fund, 55800 Cedar Lane, Paw Paw, MI 49079, Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or the family.
