Of Kalamazoo Died November 24, 2012 at the age of 59. He was born July 2, 1953 in Landstuhl, Germany. Russ was united in marriage to the former Christine Trader on September 15, 1979 for a loving 33 years together. First and foremost, he loved to spend time with family, especially his two grand kids. He also loved riding his motorcycle with his wife, going target shooting and being outside. His music interests were classic rock and jazz. Surviving Russ are his wife, Christine Burris; daughters, Erin C. Burris of Kalamazoo and Kelly Joshua Keith of LaGrange, IN; 2 grandchildren, Kylie and Robert; mother, Barbara Laurian; sister-in-law, Diane Trader; mother-in-law, Babette Trader; sister, Nancy Larry Bush; niece, Kristen Smith; and nephew, Eric Wilson. Family will greet friends on Thursday, November 29th from 4-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Michigan.gov/dnr/0, 1607, 7-153-10370_12141_12169-30564--00.html or to the American Heart Association.
