VORHOLT, Ruby I.
Of Portage Ruby passed away Saturday morning, February 6, 2010 at Odyssey Hospice in Southfield, MI. She was born July 11, 1912 in Ibera, Missouri, the daughter of William and Ora Stites Miller. On December 18, 1936, Ruby was united in marriage to Henry Vorholt in Steelville, MO. She was a member of Portage First United Methodist Church and Portage Senior Services. Surviving are two sons, Ronald Darla Vorholt of Oklahoma City, OK and Gregory Cindy Vorholt of Chesterfield, MI; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband of 37 years, Henry; one son, Donald Vorholt; her parents; brother, Glenn Miller; and sister, Billie Mann. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 2-5 PM at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue. There will be no services.
