Kalamazoo, MI Died Saturday morning July 7, 2012. Ruby was born June 12, 1920 in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan a daughter of Forest and Georgeanna Myers Chapman. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for over 30 years. Ruby was preceded by her parents; 2 children, George Anderson and Sandra Kraft; and several siblings. She is survived by 2 children, Dianna Locke of Anchorage, AK and Ada Daniel Button of Plainwell; a son-in-law, Allen Kraft of Kalamazoo; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Whitmore of Pontiac, MI; a brother, Billy Chapman of Pontiac, MI; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Borgess Hospice.
