SKINNER, Mr. Marshall Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday afternoon September 25, 2007. Marshall was born March 4, 1918 in Highland, Michigan, son of Roy and Lillian Lockwood Skinner. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army. He was a Kalamazoo area resident since 1938 and was employed with the James River Corporation for 41 years, retiring in 1980. He attended Cooper Congregational Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Evelyn L. Skinner on November 3, 1999. He is survived by 3 children, David Carol Skinner of Strathroy, Ontario, Dennis Marie Skinner of Kalispell, MT, and Sheila Skinner of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren, Cory, Ben, Tina, and Kristen Skinner; 3 great-grandchildren, Mallory and Luke Skinner, and Bailei McAnally; 2 brothers, Donald Marion Skinner of Hartland, MI and Charles Mildred Skinner of Zeeland, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held at 10 o?clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday. Interment will be in West Cooper Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Cooper Congregational Church or the Star Commonwealth.
