ROBERTSON, Ross M. III "Rob"
age 64 of Kalamazoo Rob passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 unexpectedly at his home. He was born August 22, 1947 in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of the late Ross M. Robertson II and Emily Waste Robertson. Rob was raised in Bloomington, IN and was a 1965 graduate of University High School in Bloomington. He then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University. Rob was the owner/operator of Peaches Printing in Snellville, Georgia for many years before moving to Kalamazoo, MI in 2010. He had a passion for photography. Rob's favorite subjects included piers, boats, and bridges for the sense of tranquility and peace that those landscapes emit. Rob also loved traveling and California in particular, especially San Francisco. Rob also enjoyed car racing and raced go-carts himself for many years. Surviving are his daughter, Gina Brad Crowe of Bloomington, IN; step-daughter, Heather RonnieFox of Grayson, GA; four grandchildren, Mackenzie and Brayden Crowe and Payton and Paxton Fox; sister, Joni Jim Kahler O'Connor; three cousins, Corlett, Tom, and Jim Orr; nieces, Erin Jayson Field and Kate O'Connor; and nephew, John O'Connor. Honoring Rob's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Kalamazoo Dream Center, Stockbridge United Methodist Church, or the Kalamazoo County Humane Society.
