MORRIS, Rosamond D. "Rose"
of Kalamazoo Rose went to be with the Lord, Wednesday afternoon, September 7, 2011. She was born July 27, 1920 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Lockwood Hubbard. On January 22, 1966, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Morris, who passed away on February 13, 1986. Also preceding her in death were her son, Raymond "Bud" House; granddaughter, Rebecca Ruder; three sisters, Florene Evans, Virginia Holmes and Chere Thompson and two brothers, Cecil and Claude Channels. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Louis Money of Kalamazoo; seven grandchildren, Deborah David Beltz, Kristine Marcus Anthensen, Jerry Dawn Money, William Lorie Money, Jason Money, Lisa Dan DeYoung, and Raymond "Bud" House; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Roberta Pfau of Clearwater, FL; grandson-in-law, Robert Ruder; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Rose will be at 12:00 PM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway with Rev. Matthew Trim officiating. Interment will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Heritage Community of Kalamazoo - Director's Hall.
