BOERS, Mrs. Rosalie M.
Kalamazoo, MI Passed away Sunday morning December 26, 2010 following a lengthy illness with Huntington's Disease, with her family at her side. Rosalie was born December 19, 1937 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Lee and Ruth Vandenberg Davis. Rosie was a wonderful Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother whose life was dedicated to the care of others. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was a member of the First Congregational Church. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents;2 brothers, Jack and Mike Davis; a sister, Nancy Topp; and 2 brothers-in-law, William Topp and Dick Klepper. She is survived by 4 children, Craig Sara Boers of Kalamazoo, Julie Dennis Rhem of Austin, TX, Peter Diane Boers of Grand Haven, MI, and Joan Marc Rizzolo of Kalamazoo; the father of the children, Richard J. Margie Sue Boers of Delton; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Margie Colbeck, Judie Tom Dreier, Barbie Andy Mortellaro, and Rick Sandi Davis all of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters-in-law, Louise Davis of Gobles and Dorothy Klepper of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Thursday at the First Congregational Church, 129 S. Park St. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
