Ronald Levell Wilson, age 55 of Kalamazoo, died following a short illness on November 23, 2023. He was born on November 11, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, the youngest son of Thomas and Juanita (Keyes) Wilson. The family moved to the Kalamazoo area and Ronald attended Loy Norrix High School. He was a star athlete, excelling in soccer, football, and track. He still holds the school record for the 4x400 race. He graduated from Loy Norrix High School in 1987. He went on to take classes in HVAC repair training and becoming a pastor. Ronald worked at WDP Company and most recently has been at Bunting Bearing.
In high school, Ronald had met Treasa Keeler. They reconnected and were married on October 31, 2020, in an intimate ceremony.
Ronald was a huge University of Michigan fan! He loved watching them play, especially football. Go Blue!
His family includes his wife, Treasa Wilson; his son, Isaiah Levell Wilson; his step-children: Keith Keeler, Jonathan Keeler, and Jathan Keeler; his brothers and sisters: James Vallar, Mildred Williams, Robert (Helen) Vallar, Annette (Glen) Russell, Fred Vallar, Jr., Gertrude (Lester) Nelson, Johnnie May Paule, Willie (Deb) Vallar, Beverly Vallar, Larry Vallar, Michael (Wendy) Wilson; his half-brothers: Kevin Dunigan and Jack Wilson; his brother-in-law Bill Slack; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Robin Slack; his half-sister Anita; his sister-in-law: Barb Vallar; his brothers-in-law Ezra Williams, Ronald Paulke and Willie Henry Cody.
