Ronald VerMeulen, 71, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019. He was born July 26, 1948 in Kalamazoo to the late Robert VerMeulen and Flossie (Sargent) Hat.
Ron is survived by his children, Brett (Cheri) Vermeulen, Rebecca (Joseph) Rubert and Robert (Tina) Vermeulen; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; step-children, Brian (Andrea) Perkins, Keven (Sara) Perkins, Michael (Desiree) Perkins, Tina (Justin) Newington and Melissa (Jonathan) Bothway; siblings, Nancy (Wayne) Terry and Sherry (Michael) Connelly; aunt, Vonda (Rock) Deaton; former wife and good friend, Sarah VerMeulen; and several nieces and nephews. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00am at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 6121 King Hwy, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.
