STUUT, RONALD L.
Ronald Lee Stuut, age 77, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Tampa, Florida. Ron was born October 19, 1935 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Emmo and Anna DeVries Stuut and has been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Comstock High School and from 1954-58 he served in the U.S. Air Force. For 42 years he was employed with National Waterlift Company, retiring as a design engineer in 1996. On June 28, 1975, he was united in marriage to Sandra K. Scheffler Stuut. Following retirement Ron and Sandy enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Winter Haven, Florida. Ron especially enjoyed golfing and fishing but the most importantly spending quality time with his best friend and wife Sandy. Surviving are his wife, Sandy Stuut; children, Donna John Koch, Sonya Chamberlain, Jodi Tim Stolinski, Tony Burns and Tracy Campbell; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Anna Stuut and his brother, Ken Judy Stuut. A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway with Pastor James Dyke officiating. The family will receive friends at the Comstock Chapel one hour prior to the service time. Memorials in Ron's memory may be directed to a VFW charity of your choice.
