of Portage, Michigan Passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital at the age of 83. Ronald was born in Grant, Iowa on October 25, 1929. He served with the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was part-owner of American Metal Fab in Three Rivers, MI. He attended Portage Free Methodist Church and enjoyed the church's Wednesday morning men's breakfast. He enjoyed woodworking, making stain glass windows, building clocks and gardening. He also enjoyed NASCAR and driving race cars. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, RosaLee Kite Roberts; and his children and grandchildren. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his brother. Private family burial has taken place in Portage South Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Adam Davidson will officiate. Memorials may be made to Portage Free Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
