MOTT, Ronald T.
of Kalamazoo Passed away May 12, 2010 at Rose Arbor Hospice with his family by his side. He was born July 13, 1940 in Kalamazoo, to the late Thomas and LaVon Kindy Mott. Ron was united in marriage on February 7, 1959 to Charlene "Sharky" Williams, who survives. Ron was a Journeyman Millwright at General Motors Corp. for 35 years. Also surviving Ron are his children, Layne Dittman of Ottawa Lake, MI, Tom Karen Mott of Kalamazoo and Sharon Daryl Trimner of Kalamazoo; 6 granddaughters, Lynn Patrick, Jeny, Jill, Corie, Lea and Kelly Jo; sister, June Phil Walter; and many nieces and nephews. Also preceding Ron in death was a brother, Roger Mott; and son-in-law, William Dittman, Jr. Family will greet friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St., where services will take place on Monday at 11:00 o'clock, Pastor Greg VanderMeer, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Of Southwest Michigan or West Michigan Cancer Center. Following the services, family and friends are welcome to gather at the Portage Moose Lodge, 9650 Portage Rd., to celebrate Ron's life memories.
