Of Kalamazoo, MI Ron passed away Thursday evening, July 16, 2009 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born December 28, 1957 in Kalamazoo, one of three children to Robert and Mary Holtman Klok. On September 8, 1979, Ron was united in marriage to Linda Cartwright. He was employed by Eliason Corp. for 25 years, attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and was an avid hunter; but most of all, he loved his family and friends. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Linda Klok; their 4 sons, Kevin, Andrew, Adam, and Aaron Klok; granddaughter, Kaiden Klok; mother, Mary Klok of Kalamazoo; brother, Gary Vanetta Klok of Golden, CO; sister, Cheryl Jerry Johnson of Portage; father-in-law, Donald Cartwright of Kalamazoo; sister-in-law, Mata Thomas of Kalamazoo; brother-in-law, Robert Debbie Cartwright of Grosse Pointe Woods. Preceding him in death is his father, Robert Klok. Funeral services for Ron will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake St., with Msgr. Michael Hazard officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 PM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with scripture recited at 7:30 PM.
