Kalamazoo, MI Died Wednesday evening January 19, 2011. Ronald was born September 2, 1940 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Lawrence and Mary Auch Allers. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with the Gibson Guitar Company for many years before retiring. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by 4 children, Kathy Tom Russo of Radcliff, KY, Bryan Sherry Golden Allers of Paw Paw, Jeff Jan Rosenhagen Allers of Schoolcraft, and Lance Denise Allers of Plainwell; 8 grandchildren, Travis, Kelly, Cole, Grant, Barton, Rachel, Ashley, and Thomas; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anita Ron Jenson of Hartford and Sandy Jay Rantz Breed of Vicksburg; a niece, Beth Breed and her son, Kaleb; a nephew, Scott Kristie Breed and his children, Michael and Christian; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 1-3pm Sunday with a memorial service immediately following at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Private burial will take place at a later date.
