CHANEY, Roman L.
of Bloomingdale, MI Passed away June 6, 2009 at Meadow Woods nursing home of Bloomingdale. He was born December 18, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Ira and Gladys James Chaney. He was a longtime member of Bethel Apostolic Church of Vicksburg. He loved animals, gardening and fishing. Also surviving Roman are his children, Justin Jan Chaney of SC, Stanley Della Spencer Chaney of Gobles, Dave Chaney of Gobles, Sharon Chaney of Portage, Tim Julie Chaney of Davisburg, MI and Michael Chaney of Gobles; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Nell Don Burton; brother, Edward Chaney of Galesburg; step-daughter, Carmen Noah Moffett; 5 step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A private, family visitation has been scheduled. Burial will be at a later date, in Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. Arrangements are by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
