Kalamazoo Passed away Monday, February 2, 2009. He was born June 18, 1936 in Kalamazoo, the son of Peter and Murl Price Newhouse. He was employed by Central Transport as a driver and retired after 26 years of service. Roger was an avid motorcycle rider and had ridden to all of the lower 48 states with his beloved wife. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Lloyd; and a sister, Virginia Ellison. He is survived by his wife, Miriam Carlisle Newhouse; their children, Allen Debra Newhouse, Darrell Rashella Newhouse and Tammy Kenneth Williams; grandchildren, Kevin Jennifer Williams, Dennis Williams, Alleia Newhouse and Thomas Newhouse; great grandson, Karsen Williams; step-granddaughters, Britny and Raven Brown; a brother, Howard Newhouse; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave. on Thursday beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM.
