MASTENBROOK, Mr. Roger A.
Kalamazoo, MI Roger passed away Sunday morning, September 8, 2013 at his home. He was born September 22, 1953 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Edwin and Alice Wiatrowski Mastenbrook. Roger had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 2005. He was also a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Ronald Mastenbrook. He is survived by a daughter, Jenica Mastenbrook of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Dr. and Mrs. Vedpal Susan Malik of Washington, DC and Dr. and Mrs. Hussein Jean Al-Muttawan of Dubai, The United Arab Emirates; five nephews; and several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 11, at St. Monica Catholic Church, 534 W. Kilgore Road, with Father Larry Farrell celebrant. A luncheon will follow the Mass. Interment will be in Portage South Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Monica Catholic Church or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
