Roberta D. Callender

CALLENDER, Roberta D. Kalamazoo Mrs. Callender passed away Saturday evening, June 30, 2007 at Tendercare of Westwood. She was born January 31, 1918 in Butler, PA, one of six children to Samuel and Ethel Emerick Donaldson. In 1965, Roberta earned a degree from Western Michigan University in Social Work and was employed by the State of Michigan as a social worker until her retirement in the mid 1970?s. Surviving are her three children, Katherine Gifford of Lawton, Christine Lester Ritsema of Decatur, and Gerald Brandon of Minnesota; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation or services. Private interment will be in Summit Presbyterian Cemetery in Butler, PA.
