Vande Wouwer, Robert L.
Portage, MI Age 67, passed away at his home July 3, 2015. Robert was born February 19, 1948, in Kalamazoo, MI. He was the son of Marinus Vande Wouwer and Marceline Vande Wouwer. Robert loved all kinds of music, as long as it wasn't sappy. He enjoyed splashing in the water and especially loved butterscotch sundaes. Robert was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother; his sister, Carol Ronald Manche of Streetsboro, OH; brothers, Paul Vande Wouwer of Paw Paw, MI and Mark Carol Vande Wouwer of Haslett, MI. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Justin Bryant, Jasmine Manche, Cameron Manche, Kristan Vande Wouwer, and Kyle Vande Wouwer. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all those who have provided care and concern throughout Robert's life. A Service will be held Tuesday, July 7th at 11 o'clock at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel. A gathering will be held at R.O.I., 1013 Schuring Road, after the service. Memorials may be directed to the Residential Opportunities, Inc. Schuring Road or Hospice of Southwest Michigan. Arrangements were made through Langeland Memorial Chapel.
