STEFFIC, Robert Franklin
Kalamazoo, MI Born December 22, 1963. Robert passed away on Friday, February 12, 2010. Robert is survived by his six children: Matthew, Jill, Kyle, Anthony, Dylan and Derek; his mother and father, Nancy L. Steffic and Robert P. Steffic; his wife, Christine; and his brother, Dwayne. Robert graduated from Hackett Catholic Central in Kalamazoo, where he ruled the football team's defensive line. He ran the 880 in track and loved his friends like Paul, Jeff, Chris and Dave. He spent his whole life at General Motors in order to give his large family of six children all that they needed. This was what was most important to him. Our beloved Robert has left us to be in a better place. He is now at peace, knowing that the short time that God gave him to us, all of our lives will be forever changes by what he has given us. Robert showed us to live large, laugh, love and be with family. He went into everything he did with passion! Some say too much passion but this is why we loved him so much. -Robert, I will love and miss you from depths that no one could ever fathom... love, Mom
-Bobby, I love you and will miss you forever... love, Dad -Bob, you never figured out that it was you that I looked up to, idolized as a child and wanted to be like. The last time I saw you, you held me and told me you loved me! Thank you... your little brother.
-Dad, thank you for being the best dad you could be. For loving us unconditionally, supporting us and helping us in need. Because of you, we have been blessed and surrounded by the most loving family we could ask for. Hey dad... Tom Petty was right, "you've got a heart so big, it could crush this town"... your loving children.
