SCHIFF, Mr. Robert L. "Bob"
Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday morning May 5, 2015. Bob was born July 14, 1938 in Detroit MI to Max and Lucille Schiff. He is survived by Ann, his wife of 30 years, sons David Monica Schiff and Andrew Ryan Hill Schiff, sister Linda JimPark, brother Frank Frumeth Polasky , sister Marianne Smith, brother-in -law Bob Lopez, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved Miss Libby. Bob was raised in Saginaw, and there began his 37 year career with McDonald's in 1964. His involvement with store expansion took him to Oklahoma, the Detroit Metro Area and finally to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1968. Bob was a committed volunteer for Ronald McDonald House Children's Charities for over 20 years. After retirement in 2001, he gave his time to the Meals on Wheels kitchen, both in Oregon and Kalamazoo. An avid golfer, Bob was a member at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, Salishan on the Oregon Coast, and the Moors Golf Club in Portage. There will be no visitation or services. Memorials may be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St.
