NAWROCKI, Robert "Rocki"
Portage Passed away Monday, November 22, 2010. Bob was born February 12, 1932 in Grand Rapids, MI, a son of Bernard Robert and Dorothy Slade Nawrocki and was a resident of Portage for many years. He worked for General Motors for 40 years and retired in 1992 as a tool & die supervisor. Bob was a charter member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church of Portage, enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. On October 25, 1958, he married Jacquelyn Johnson, who survives. Also surviving are their children, Joni Jerry Campbell of Novi, MI, Sandy Tony Trumblee of Portage and Greg Nawrocki of Portage; 3 grandchildren, Nick & Abby Nawrocki and Garrett Trumblee; two sisters, Peggy Dennis Daly of Grand Rapids and Dorothy Mae Rogalski of Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Earle Nancy Nawrocki of Montague; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dick and Terry Nawrocki. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre Ave., with Rev. Fr. James Adams presiding. The family will greet friends and family at the church on Wednesday, beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
