Of Kalamazoo Passed away Monday January 28, 2008. Bob was born November 20, 1956 in Kalamazoo the son of Robert, Sr. and Betty Merritt. He enjoyed collecting lighthouses, scuba diving, and spending time at Lake Michigan. Bob is survived by his wife, Francesca; 2 children, Donald Burton, Danielle Stairs; a grandson, R.J. Stairs; brother and sisters, Robert Gravatt, Trudy Gravatt, Candi Gates; several nieces, nephews, and close friends. Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Wager. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, February 1 from 6-9pm at the Westland Meadows Clubhouse, 4300 Leisure Lane. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Candi Gates, 717 Parker Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick.
