Of Vicksburg Died October 19, 2012 at the age of 74 surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 26, 1938 in Kalamazoo to the late Robert and Thelma Bontrager Lewman. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy for over 10 years. He married Mary Lou Kimble in 1964 who preceded him in death. He was then reunited with his first love, Linda Gayle Brixey in 2008, who he married on October 20, 2011. Gayle survives. Also surviving Bob are his children, Lisa Mike Rehe Lewman, Lori O'Brien, Randy Lewman, Jeff Pam Lewman, Tony Candace Lewman and Kristine David Brumett; step-children, Deb Russ Lowell, Don Barb Davis, Trish Dick O'Brien, Ron Rene' Davis and Brenda Davis; several grand and great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and several nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends on Wednesday, October 24th from 10:30-11:30 at the Scotts Community Center, 8450 South 36th Street, Scotts, Michigan 49088, where a funeral service will take place at 11:30, Rev. Glenn Litchfield officiating. Burial will follow at Gilson Cemetery. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Climax Chapel, 205 E. Maple St. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials may be directed to the Scotts Community Center.
