Robert L. Kingsley

Robert L. Kingsley passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the age of 89. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Henry “R.L.” and Nellie (Bill) Kingsley on December 4, 1934. Robert worked in maintenance for the Gull Lake Community Schools. On August 24, 1974, he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Carol (Crummel) Kingsley who preceded him in death in 2020. Robert enjoyed Nascar, bowling, the outdoors, and watching sports of all kinds.

Surviving are his children, David Kingsley, Richard “Rick” Kingsley, Theresa Kennedy, Richard “Jim” (Robina) Kingsley, and Virginia “Ginny” Ryan; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; sister, Beverly Ruimveld; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Kingsley.

The family will receive friends at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 622 S Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49007 on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral Services will held at the funeral home on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 12:30 pm with interment immediately following in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society, in memory of Robert.
