Robert E. Glenn

GLENN, Mr. Robert E., Sr. Kalamazoo, MI Died Friday morning January 12, 2007 at his residence. Robert was born July 2, 1925 in VanWert, Ohio a son of Wilbur and Geleah Kiggins Glenn. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Navy. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with the City of Kalamazoo for 25 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen J. Glenn on July 24, 1986; and 2 sons, Donald W. Glenn and Robert E. Glenn, Jr. He is survived by 3 children, Shar Donald Sweat of Lebanon, TN, Ronald Nancy Glenn of Vicksburg, and Lonnie Paula Glenn of Portage; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Sharon Glenn of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters, Louise Joseph Foltin of Lawton, and Virginia Dowler of L?Anse, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o?clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday. Interment will be in Mt.
