Robert Bunde

BUNDE, Robert "Bob"
of Kalamazoo Passed away May 25, 2009, Memorial Day, at Rose Arbor Hospice Care. He was born January 19, 1928 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, to the late Leo and Ida Black Bunde. Bob was an avid model railroader and remote control airplane enthusiast. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University and his Masters from University of Michigan. He taught at both Valparaiso University and Purdue University. Surviving Bob are his sister, Doris Bare; niece, Mary Reed Burrer of Mishawaka, IN; nephew, David Pandy Bare of Odessa, TX; great niece and nephew, Nicole and Mitchell; dear friend, John Vorres; and several distant relatives in the Wisconsin area. Services will take place Saturday, 2:30, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St, with the family greeting friends 1 hour prior to services, 1:30-2:30. Memorials may be directed in Bob's name to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
