Robert Richard Baker, Jr.

Robert R. Baker, Jr., age 77 of Kalamazoo, died on October 31, 2021. He was born August 27, 1944, in Kalamazoo, the son of Robert R. Baker, Sr. and Reva Mae (Gursey) Baker. He was a machinist millwright and tool and die maker for Mead School and Office Supply Products until his retirement. On June 29, 1979, Bob married Sandra Kleinbrink. He enjoyed his time spent at Pine Lake growing up and in later years. Bob made many friends socializing at VFW Post 8727 and Post 3030. He was a jack of all trades and loved to tinker around his house. His family includes his wife Sandra Baker; his son Chad (Stacy) Baker; his daughter: Jackie (Bill) Nowland; his grandchildren: Robby, Caleb, Ryan, Cassi, Bailey, Joshua, and Kyle; his great-grandchildren: Elijah, Charlotte, and Lucas; his sister, Jeanette Hettinger and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Arlene Fuller and his best friend and brother-in-law Ronald Hettinger. No services are scheduled at this time.
